Martin Lutz releases New EP: “Dryp” - Release: September 26th, 2025
What does everyday life sound like when told by a middle-aged man who has loved, failed, hoped, and experienced most things in an ordinary life filled with ups and downs? For more than two decades, Martin Lutz has been known as a prominent, original, and award-winning jazz composer and musician. But with “Dryp”, he now makes his debut as a singer, songwriter, and solo artist. Lutz invites us into an atmospheric world of five new songs, all centered around the human experience – with humor, warmth, and longing. His sound is rooted in the singer/songwriter tradition but effortlessly draws on elements of folk, blues, and jazz. His simple, warm vocals are supported by a stylish group of musicians from the Danish music scene – known from acts like Patina, One-Eyed Mule, Emma Winther, Mike Andersen, and many more. “The songs are written from a place in life where you’ve experienced both joy and loss, and where – perhaps precisely because of that – you wish for and believe that the world can become a slightly better place if we just care for each other.” says Lutz. The EP is produced by Rasmus Glendorf at The V-Recording, Studio B. |
